Cannot Connect to Touch Trainer

Steps to follow if you are unable to connect to your Touch Trainer.

  1. Turn the Touch Trainer off by pressing the silver Power Button on the back, then turn it back on.
  2. Force close the TOCA Training app and try to connect to the Touch Trainer again.
  3. Go to your smartphone or tablet device settings.
    • Check to make sure you are connected to data or WiFi
    • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  4. Check to see what software version you are currently using on your mobile device.
    • The TOCA Training app currently supports iOS10 & above and Android 4.4 & above.
  5. Ensure that you have the most up-to-date app version of the TOCA Training app.
  6. Select the "+" symbol in the top right corner of the screen to allow the TOCA Training app to scan for nearby Touch Trainers
    • You can also manually press the dotted-line in the right corner of the screen to scan for TOCA devices.
    • If you are already connected to the Touch Trainer, and you are receiving the error message "object for handle not found", please disconnect from the Touch Trainer and reconnect to it.
  7. Simply select your Touch Trainer from the list to connect to it.
    • Once you tap the Touch Trainer from the list of devices, your Touch Trainer will calibrate if it is the first time connecting to it once turned on.
      • Please ensure there is enough room for the Touch Trainer to move and re-center itself.
