The Touch Trainer can operate outdoors under dry conditions. However, it is recommended to use the Touch Trainer indoors in a controlled environment. The Touch Trainer is built to be used as an indoor training device.
Use of the Touch Trainer outdoors exposes it to natural environments that can damage the internal components of the Touch Trainer. Environmental debris such as water, dirt, sand, mud, and turf rubber can get caught in the Touch Trainer's components, resulting in a less than optimal performance.
In addition, one should be wary of the weather. Extreme weather, such as hot, cold, or wet conditions can wear your Touch Trainer quicker and result in below optimal deliveries of the TOCA Ball.
Please refer to the Maintenance and Troubleshooting Manual for further instruction on preferred training surfaces and environments to optimize your training sessions.
