General Questions

What is D-BAT Training?

At D-BAT, it is our mission to: Provide a quality teaching environment with quality instruction to enhance the baseball experience for players at all levels from little league through the pros.

While the core demographic for a facility ranges from ages 6-18, the reality is some of MLB’s top prospects have trained at D-BAT and even more players have earned college scholarships.

What does D-BAT offer?

Batting Cages

Our batting cages use real baseballs and softballs. Cage Rentals are a great way to work your kid out individually or bring in a team in for batting practice. Cage Rentals are rented out on 30 minute increments. Each cage comes equipped with Baseballs/Softballs, "L-Screen", and a batting tee.

Camps & Clinics

D-BAT offers over 50 camps and clinics annually. Regardless of skill level or position there is always something to learn at D-BAT.

Lessons

D-BAT Academy locations offer lessons with professional instructors for every aspect of the game (hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, baserunning, speed & agility).

Do we provide batting cage equipment?

It is recommended to provide helmets and bats in case customers do not have their own equipment. Keep in mind, the majority of customers will have their own equipment.

Credits Questions

Please tell me more about the pitching cages

The D-BAT pitching cages pitch real baseballs and softballs at 4 different speeds. Customers must pick up the balls and reload them into the machine when they are done or the machines run out of balls. The credits are stored on a “Swing Card” which is used like a credit card or game card. As long as the customer never loses this card their credits will never expire.

The top two selling points for customers are 1) REAL baseball and softball delivery and 2) Credits never expire.

What are the credits valued at?

  • $2.50 / credit (15 pitches for each credit)
  • 15 credits for $25
  • 50 Credits for $50
  • 100 Credits for $80

These prices reflect both baseball and softball pitching machine cages.

What are the speed deliveries in the pitching cages?

Baseball: 40 MPH, 50 MPH, 60 MPH, 70 MPH

Softball: Slow pitch, 40 MPH Fast Pitch, 50 MPH Fast Pitch, 60 MPH Fast Pitch

What is the sales process for credits?

To load credits onto the “Swing Card”, there is a system called “Embed”. The sale will be booked and tracked through MBO.

How much does it cost to rent a batting cage?

Cage rentals are offered in 30 minute and 60 minute increments. Our Gold and Platinum Members receive 20% off rentals.

60 minute: $55 ($44 Gold & Platinum)

30 minute: $35 ($28 Gold & Platinum)

Does a customer have to be a member to rent a cage?

No, memberships are not required for cage rentals. However, it is cheaper to be a member and rent a cage.

What is included in a cage rental?

If requested, customers will receive a bucket of baseballs and a tee during their time they have rented the cage for. There is NOT a pitching machine included in the cage rental, that requires credits for the cages with pitching machines.
